365 Days of Gratefulness | Day Eleven

FBdayeleven-2All of southwestern Oklahoma is grateful today for all of the rain we got yesterday… We needed it!  I love the occasional rainy day to open the screen door and listen to the soothing sound of the rain!  Isn’t that one of the most relaxing things ever?

365 Days of Gratefulness | Day Six

FBdaysix-1Music has been something I’ve loved since I was a toddler.  I am so grateful for the chance to learn from some special teachers who instructed me in both piano and voice – musicians who not only taught the how-tos, but showed me both how to love music and use it in ways to minister to others.

365 Days of Gratefulness | Day Five

FBdayfive-1This book is something I am beyond words grateful for. It encourages, corrects, inspires, gives hope, instructs, exhorts, and speaks to every part and phase of life imaginable.

It is perfect, sure, wise, right, pure, enlightening, clean, everlasting, and true.  It should be desired more than gold and is sweeter than honey. [Psalm 19, paraphrase]

365 Days of Gratefulness | Day Three

FBdaythree-1I’m grateful for glimpses of beauty everywhere you look – even among weeds.   Just stop and look.

“Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them” [A. A. Milne]
